January 19th, 1964 – November 11th, 2020
It is with heavy hearts the family of Sharon Louise Gamarra announces her passing. She passed on a day reserved for honouring heroes, which is symbolic, as she was a hero to many. She is cherished by her children Melina (Tristan), Richard (Liliana), Tina, Rebeca, and Alex. Adored grandmother to Tyrell, Ricardo, Christian, Nicolas, Liandra, and Nazareth. Loving sister to Sheila, Bonnie (Steve), Yvonne (Brad), and their families. May she be reunited with her late sister Susan. She was an amazing aunt and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her dear friend Virginia, companion Dennis, along with her many friends and colleagues. Sharon will be remembered as a selfless, compassion, kind loving person and will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. A private family visitation will take place at the Holy Cross Catholic Church 373 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa Ontario, L1H 4J2 Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 10:00 am – 11:30 am. This will be followed by a funeral service at the Church. Burial will take place at the Bowmanville Cemetery at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Holland Bloorview Rehabilitation Hospital.
