Memorial Donation
We regret to announce the passing of our sister, Sharon Chiasson on May 20, 2020 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Cheticamp, September 6, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John and Etta Chiasson of East Margaree.
Sharon is survived by her brothers Kenny (Jean), Windsor, N.S., Tommy (Harriet), East Margaree, Joey (Wanda), Margaree Valley; sister, Linda (Richard), Inverness, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her common-law partner of 30 years, Bill Hyrb; brothers Johnny and Bobby and sister, Angie.
Sharon resided in Port Hawkesbury for the last six years and made many friends including her best friend, Ron Clarke. Ron was a very good friend who helped Sharon in many ways, especially with her dog Bella, whom she loved very much.
A very special thank you to all of the health care professionals who provided such good care for Sharon, especially at this time during Covid-19.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Bernard Street, Port Hawkesbury.
Memorial donations in memory of Sharon may be made to Palliative Care Strait Richmond Hospital.
