Sharlene Smith 19582020

Sharlene Smith
1958-2020
It is with heavy hearts the family of
Sharlene Smith announce her passing on August
30th, 2020 at the Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital at
the age of 62. Born in Riverside 1958, she was the daughter of the
late William and Tressa Cameron. She will be sadly missed by
her husband Roger Smith of Buckley
Settlement.
Dedicated mother first and foremost,
Sharlene’s greatest love was her family and her dogs,
Griffin and Homer. She truly lived life to the fullest
through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, spending
time with her grandchildren, and had a great love for nature and
flowers.
In addition to her husband, she is
survived by her children Robert Hooper (Sylvie) of Colpitts
Settlement, Greg Hooper (Megan) of Salisbury, Keynan Smith (Tasha) of
Edmonton, Jason Steeves of Hillsborough, Shannon Smith of Riverside
and Joe Howe of Anagance; 20 grandchildren; four sisters and three
brothers. Predeceased by one sister and three brothers.
The Celebration of Life will be held at
the family home, 411 Buckley Settlement Road, Anagance, on September
5th from 12 – 5 pm. All are
welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family would like to send a
heartfelt thank-you to the nurses and staff at the Georges-L.-Dumont
Hospital for their compassion and support.
