Senabe Wray, formerly of James Street Delhi , passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Centre, on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in her 97th year. Long time Member of the Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Catholic Women’s League. Former Senabe Alice Deyne. Beloved wife of the Late Gordon F. Wray (1986). Loving mother of the Late Kathy Thompson (Michael), Sidney, B.C.; David Wray (Helen), Vanessa; Richard Wray, Silver Hill; Gary Wray (Julie), Sarnia; Ronald Wray (Doris), Simcoe; Marianne Lundy (Jim), London; Darlene Konieczny (Rick), Palgrave and Patricia Wheeler (James), Whitby. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Sarah Williams (Late Arthur), Delhi & Madeline Williams (Late Tom), Tillsonburg. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Houler, Margaret Bergman and Germaine Pettit (2007), by her brothers Maurice Deyne, Albert Deyne, Mike Deyne (1993) & Alfred Deyne (1995). Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the family has requested a Private Family Service at this time. Arrangements entrusted to the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (mfh.care). A Memorial Mass for the public will be announced and celebrated at a later date. Interment in Delhi Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Delhi Community Health Centre, the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or the Delhi Long Term Care Centre (Resident Activity) will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
