It is with broken hearts that the family of the late SARAH MURPHY of Little Bay announces her passing. Sarah passed away at her home in Little Bay on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at the age of 77. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Peter of 58 years; sons, Terry (Bridget) of Churchill Falls, Lab, Ken (Catherina) of Portugal Cove, Wade (Audra) of Portugal Cove, Dale (Andrea) of Calgary, AB, and Peter (Jasmine) of Antigonish, NS.; daughter, Sandra Murphy (Gar Hooper) of Marystown; 11 grandchildren, Sarah (Drew), Renee (Kali), Megan, Peter (Summer), Emily (Sam), Joshua, Ella, Audrey, Avie, Taryn, and Raedon; 1 great-grand-daughter, Oaklyn; brothers, James Cheeseman (Mercedes) of Marystown, Bernard Cheeseman (Donelle) of Ontario, and Robert Cheeseman (Vera) of New Brunswick; sisters, Veronica Dicks of Marystown, Kathleen Murphy of Marystown, Alice Brown of Marystown, Lillian Brake of AB, Theresa Leonard of AB, and Ursula Pittman (Eugene) of NS; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Mary Cheeseman; sister, Madonna Cheeseman; Baby Boy Murphy.
The Murphy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Saturday, October 24th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm and Sunday, October 25th from 1-4pm and 6-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Monday, October 26th at 10am
Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Little Bay.
In Sarah’s memory donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, Little Bay.
