Obituary of Sandra Lee Maria Pegg
PEGG, Sandra (nee Urich)
1957 – 2020
Sandra passed away peacefully in her sleep with her son Warren by her side on January 20, 2020.
Sandra is survived by her father Don, sister Charlotte, daughter Tanis, sons Ryan and Warren, her three grandchildren, Cohen, Zane, and Veronica and their mother Jessica, auntie Al, special friends Deb and Ray and many cousins and relatives. She was predeceased by her mother Doris, her brother Trent, her grandparents , one cousin and many aunts and uncles. In Sandra’s younger years she was very involved in breaking horses and barrel racing. She took years of lessons in piano and loved to entertain with her music when she could. She loved her pets, especially her dogs. She also loved to write and later on took creative writing at the UofS. She could be found writing wherever she went. Always writing. The greatest love of Sandy’s life was her family. They were always at the forefront of her life. She loved spending time with family, especially the family get togethers held each summer. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, while sharing many stories of her life. In 1994 Sandy was involved in a terrible car accident. The result of this accident changed her life forever, even affecting her career as an assistant to a financial broker, and that broke her heart. Sandy had many struggles in her pain filled life. During these times she never gave up fighting for herself and her family. The struggles seemed to make her stronger and more determined to succeed, which she did. Special thanks to Dr. Stefiuk who was always a champion for Sandy throughout her lifetime. A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later date.
