Obituary
The family of Sandra Lee McConnell announces her passing on January 19th, 2020 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. Sandra was born on November 22 of 1951 to Joe and Jesse McCoy, in Fort Frances Ontario. She married Jack McConnell on Feb 8th of 1969, in Aug of 1978, the two along with their son’s Jonathan and Jeremy moved to Churchbridge, Sask. soon after that she began working as a Home Care aid, where she helped numerous people in and around the community. In 1990, Jack and Sandra moved to Bredenbury, Sask. She lived there until 2017 when she moved into Yorkton, to be closer to many friends that she made in the car clubs she belonged to. She was predeceased by her husband Jack (June 3/06); parents Joe and Jessie McCoy; brothers Ross and Hugh (Katie) McCoy; sister Grace (George) Roy. She leaves to mourn her sons, Jonathan and wife Cheryl, their children Taylor (Tatyana) and daughter Talia; and Lexandra of Regina, Sask. Jeremy (Pam) and his daughter Laine of Regina, Sask.; brother Gordon (Lynne) McCoy of Kenora Ont.; sisters Marilyn (Ken) McKinnon of Devlin Ont.; Debra (Rob) Pihulak of Dryden Ont. and many nieces and nephews. As well as many friends in the Rolling Thunder and Antique Auto car clubs in Yorkton. A small family graveside memorial service will happen at a future date in Fort Frances Ont.
