Sandra’s Obituary
BRANNEN, Sandra Madge – 67, Woods Harbour, passed away August 9, 2020, at Roseway Hospital, Shelburne. Sandra’s life revolved around her three grandchildren who she loved more than anything. Sandra was the most real and selfless person you would ever meet. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and travelling around on the senior’s bus trips with her friend Ginger-Rose. Girl’s days with Ethel, Shelly, and Karla were very special to her and she enjoyed her many visits with “Nanny” Adele Crowell. Sandra is survived by her husband on 49 years, Ward Brannen; daughter, Kristie (David) Nickerson; son, Carmen (Michelle) Brannen; three “perfect” grandchildren, Laken, Ethan, and Liam Brannen; brothers, Aubrey (Susie) Crowell, Rodney Crowell, Perry (Della) Crowell; step-brothers, Greg, Thomas, and Herbie Malone; sisters, Karla Nickerson, Penny (Carl) Boudreau; step-sisters, Leona D’Eon, Kelly Malone, Heather Snow; step-mother, Eleanor Crowell; step-father, Phillip Malone; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by father, Ackie Crowell; mother, Belle Malone; and brother, Brian Crowell. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Barrington. There will be no visitation or service held as per Sandra’s wishes. There will be an interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Woods Harbour.
