Sandra Lillien Clayton March 15th 2020

May 22, 1947 – March 15, 2020
“One lives in the hope of becoming a memory”
It is with heavy hearts but many wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Sandra Lillien Clayton on March 15th, 2020 at the age of 72.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Murray; children Carolyn (Brian), Rick (Lynn) and Lori (Rod); sister Susan; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Sandra was born in Enderby and enjoyed her career managing Darroch Shoes on Alexander Street. She moved with Murray to Texada Island in the late 80’s, creating a life full of gardening, fishing, kitties and puppies and great friends. In 2005 they moved to Enderby to be closer to her mother Doreen and father Joseph Brodoway. Sandra was an active member of the Enderby Legion and loved spending as much time as possible with Murray at Hidden Lake enjoying the serenity of the lake.
Many thanks to the staff at the North Okanagan Hospice Society for the compassionate care in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or cancer.org.
A Remembrance of Life will be held in the Spring. A notice in the paper will be made when a date is set.
“How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again”

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Sandra Lillien Clayton March 15th 2020..
