Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of Sandra Fern Ellis announces her passing, which occurred on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020, at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Sandra was born on November 6th, 1937; a daughter of the late Earle and Gertrude (Higgins) Drillen, and the loving wife of the late Lester (Les) Ellis.
Sandra is survived by her sons Randy (Margie), Barry (Beverley) , and Mark (Debbie), daughter Krista Murphy (Paul), sisters Joye Robichaud and Judy Gogan (Steve), brother-in-law Glendon (Barbara), half-brother-in-law Charles (Dawn), grandchildren Aaron, Ashley, Brittany, Devin, Jennifer, and Jayelle, as well as great-grandchildren Brayden, Lauren, Maelee, Quade, Kinsley, Noah, Jack, and Brianna along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was pre-deceased by her brother Terry Bernard.
The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Fisher, as well as Joy and Lynn and the nurses and staff of the Turnbull Nursing Home, who showed such wonderful compassion and care for Mom.
In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
