SALLY VELETA KNIGHT
OCTOBER 19, 1935 – DECEMBER 12, 2020
Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital in London with her son, David and his wife Rose by her side on Saturday, December 12, 2020, Sally Veleta (DeLong) Knight of London and formerly of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Don (2006). Survived by her sons David (Rose) and Tim (Patty). Grandmother of Michael, Danny, Spencer and Jarrod and great-grandmother of Riley. Also survived by her dear sister Marcia Toth (Tillsonburg) and sister-in-law Shirley Galbraith (Toronto). Sally will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Ted DeLong (Edmonton) (2019) and brothers-in-law Bernie Toth (2010) and Allan Galbraith (2016). At Sally’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Sally and Don’s ashes will be mixed together and will be buried at Bayview Cemetery in Port Rowan overlooking beautiful Long Point where many happy times were spent fishing and boating. Memorial donations to the Helping Hand Food Bank, 55A Broadway, Tillsonburg (519)688-3434 (coordinatorhhfbtburg@gmail.com) or the charity of one’s choice may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted by the Knight family.
