Sainte-Marie-de-Kent – Félix Albert, 83, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, on Friday, December 11th, 2020.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Elizabeth (née: Bastarache) Albert.
Prior to retirement, Félix worked in construction. He was a volunteer with many committees and very involved within his community, member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree (council # 7948), Club d’Age d’Or and Sainte-Marie parish.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Zita (née: Landry); his children: Bernie (Jeanne), Laurie, Ken (Ginette), Gerard, Betty-Ann (Dave), John (Rose), Derick (Mary-Jo) and Cheryl (Eric Jr.); his sisters: Odila Newcomb (Frank) and Cecile Goguen (late Antoine); his brothers: Emile (Florine), Léo (Jeannette) and Eric (Shirley); 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Corinne and also by his brothers: Henri, Louis-George, Joe (June, 2020) and Zoël (September, 2020).
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, a maximum of 100 people will be allowed to attend the funeral mass, everyone will be required to wear a mask.
Funeral mass will be held from Notre-Dame du Mont-Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, on Friday, December 18th, 2020 at 4 pm, the funeral will be broadcast continuously and can be viewed live on the Facebook page at: www.facebook.com/PassageFH/.
Interment in the parish cemetery.
