Sadie Edna Mantysaari
January 2, 1927 – September 1, 2020
Passed peacefully in the arms of Jesus at Pioneer Manor, a resident for over 28 years and in the loving company of staff and Dr. St. Martin who had become her family over the years. She is survived by and will be missed by her brother Larry Puukila (Marlene) of McGraw, New York. She is predeceased by her parents Gus and Ellen (Hedberg) Mantysaari and her siblings Albert (Alice), Arne (Jeanine), Laila Kivari (Martin), Alden (Connie), Eila Godin (Roger of Manitoulin Island) and Harvey (Aime). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews across Canada. The family want to thank the staff and Dr. St. Martin for caring for her so lovingly all these years and allowing her to be herself. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation with interment in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
