With profound sadness, the family of Ryan Joseph Hynes announce his sudden passing on October 15, 2020, surrounded by his beloved wife and best friend, Brittany (nee Verge) and his family at his home in Elliott’s Cove, Random Island, NL. Ryan is survived by his wife, Brittany and their two beautiful daughters, Jorja May Hynes (age 4) and Rylie Grace Hynes (age 1). Ryan was born October 5, 1981 on P.E.I. He is survived by his parents, David and Valerie Hynes; brother, Glenn Hynes; sisters, Brittany (Corey) Ellis from P.E.I. and Michelle Hynes (Michael Morris) from St. Philips, NL as well as nephews, Oliver and Emerson Ellis, whom he dearly loved. He is survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rhonda and Randy Verge from Robinsons Bight and brother-in-law, Bradley (Danita) Verge from Gander, NL as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles and friends.
Ryan loved life, he devoted his entire life to the things he loved, his family meant the world to him. He loved the crab/fish business in NL and PEI the boats, the water, the trucks, the paving and the sand piles. Ryan cared for and appreciated each and every person around him.
Resting at Vardy’s Funeral Home, Hickman’s Harbour. Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, visitation and funeral service will be for the immediate family and close friends – BY INVITATION ONLY. Service will take place from the Salvation Army, Hickman’s Harbour on Wednesday, October 21, 2 pm with cremation following. Please check website periodically for changes.
Flowers are accepted or donations to the Janeway NICU, St. John’s, NL or charity of one’s choice would be deeply appreciated.
Keeping with Ryan’s generous heart and love for people, please reach out and do an unexpected act of kindness to a friend or stranger.
Farewell dear Ryan, we will love you forever, until we meet again.
