Obituary
Ruth Warwick, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 due to lung and congestive heart failure.
She was born 1946 in Dundee, Scotland. Ruth had left Scotland and lived in Bermuda for many years where she married and had a son, Andrew. In 1989 she and her son moved to Calgary, Canada where she had spent the rest of her life. Canada suited Ruth well as she loved to watch sports, especially figure skating, curling, and hockey. Basically, anything played on ice. All her neighbors knew when her favourite team scored a goal or a judge gave a questionable mark!
Ruth was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her son and granddaughters greatly. She especially loved her role as Nana and loved watching her granddaughters grow up. Ruth had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and was never short of stories and anecdotes to share with any and all that would listen. She had charm, grace and a sharp wit that only a Scot could deliver.
Ruth is survived by her sister Margaret; her son Andrew; and her granddaughters Aria and Mya.
