At Babcock Community Care Centre in Wardsville on Thursday, September 24th, 2020, Ruth L. Stevenson (nee Parke) passed away in her 100th year. Loving mother of John (Lyn) Stevenson. Very special grandmother to Shayla, Shawna, and Tarra. “Grama Ruth” to all the family friend’s kids. Ruth was a Legion/Ladies Auxiliary member for many years. She was well known for her baking many years ago by the Glencoe area residents, the Sunday Tea time at Babcock’s and selling tickets at events and dances for the Glencoe Fair board. Predeceased by her brother David Walter Parke. A graveside service will be held at the Appin Cemetery on Saturday September 26th (ATTENDENCE IS RESTRICTED). Memorial donations may be made to Quad County Support Services.
