Ruth M. Fowler
Ruth Margaret Fowler (nee Fraser)
1926-2020 passed away peacefully at home on November 8, 2020. Born in
Truro, Nova Scotia to Willis and Jean Fraser on January 4,
1926.
Ruth was raised in Truro where she
excelled both academically and musically – receiving many
awards and honours. She attended Mount Allison University where she
met the love of her life and husband of more than 70 years, Ned. They
married on June 6, 1949. Ruth worked for Eatons and assisted Ned as he
began his Accounting practice. Ruth gradually curtailed her career to
become an exceptional full-time mother to James, Scott and
Wendy. Throughout her life she continued to enjoy bridge,
music, travel, family, friends and summers at Pointe du
Chene.
Predeceased by her husband Ned,
brother Alex and sister Helen.
Ruth was a wonderful, kind, loving
person.
She will be greatly missed by her
children James (Shelagh), Scott (Kathi) and Wendy (Ross):
grandchildren Lucas, Michael, Christie (Nick,) Nick (Julia), Wally
(Christine), Ben (Jahyd), Maggie (Mark), Lindsay (Keith), John
(Heather) and great grandson Gabriel. She loved spending time with
each & every one of them.
At Ruth’s request there will
be no visitation or service.
Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995) in care of
arrangements.
