1930-2020
Ruth Spence of Moncton and formerly of Riverview passed away
at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Born in Timmins,
ON, she was the daughter of the late Addie and Margaret
Thibeault.
Ruth had been employed at the Dominion Store in her earlier
years. Known to always be smiling she loved spending winters in
Florida and summers at the cottage in Parrsboro, NS. She had a great
love for animals, especially her well photographed
dogs.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Ann McCarthy (John),
Joanne Whitley (Eric), sons; Jimmy and Larry (Anne), Norman Spence,
David Spence and Mark Spence (Krista), beloved daughter in law and
friend Patty Gray, 15 grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husbands, Pat
Whitty, Mike Amon and Gordon Spence, a son, Danny.
A service celebrating Ruth’s life along with a
visitation time will take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation
Center on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 11:30am till time of service at
1:00pm. The interment will take place beside her husband, Gordon
Spence at the Dorchester Cemetery. The arrangements are entrusted to
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007).
