He was the beloved husband of Edith (Males) for 65 years. Dear father of Vicki (Alan Lynett deceased), Greg (Lorraine Schiavo-Letts) and Natalie (Laurier Desjardins). Dear brother of Dale (Gayle). Russ was a long time member of the North Bay Elks Club and past Exalted Ruler. He was instrumental in developing the Elk’s Lodge Family Park on Dugas Bay. His passion in life was spending time at his trailer or on his boat with his wife, family and friends on Trout Lake.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Daffodil Lodge in Sudbury or the North Bay Regional Health Centre (cancer treatment) in memory of Russ will be gratefully appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jinnah, (his Angel and cookie monster) and Nurse Ashleigh for the exceptional care and compassion given to Russ.
