RUBY ALICE DEMEYERE
SEPTEMBER 17, 1925 – NOVEMBER 26, 2020
Peacefully, at Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg on Thursday, November 26, 2020, Ruby Alice Demeyere (Clough) of Tillsonburg passed away in her 96th year. Loving wife of 65 years to her beloved husband the Late Eugene “Gene” Demeyere. Dear mother of Gary (Anne) Demeyere of Dorchester, Gail (Tony) Steyaert of Tillsonburg, Jennifer (Don) Crowe of Tillsonburg, Lisa (Andy) Seres of Tillsonburg, Laurie (Jeff) Kirwin of Courtland. Cherished grandmother to Carrie (Craig) Sholdice, Paul (Kerrie) Demeyere, Gillian (Dennis) Klimchuk, Jason (Nicole) Demeyere, Emily Rivers, LeeAnn Thompson (Kyle Jacob), Becky Seres, Hayley Vuylsteke (Kyle Hollister), Olivia (Chad) Barclay and 22 great – grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Ruby is also survived by her daughter-in-law Candice Demeyere. Ruby was predeceased by her son Michael Demeyere (2007), daughter Kim Demeyere (2016), grandson Andy Seres (2004), son-in-law Doug Gower (1971), sisters Isabell Russell and Bonnie Langille. A Private Liturgical service will be celebrated for Ruby at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, (519) 842-5221, and will follow all COVID restrictions and guidelines. A Private interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the London University Hospital Transplant Unit would be appreciated by the Demeyere family.
