Obituary of Rowena Stewart
STEWART, Rowena – age 65 of Lantz, passed away peacefully in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on April 13, 2020. Born in Ottawa, she was a daughter of the late John and Molly (Simmons) Stewart.
Rowena enjoyed spending time with her friends in Sus, NB. She was an avid gardener and singer. Rowena had a big heart and always was there to help others when she could. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Rowena is survived by the father of her children, Eric Cantfell; her children, Mark (Jill) and Lisa; grandchildren, Edwin and Rachel; sisters, Cynthia von Maerestetten, Ann Stewart-Gertler.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
