It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Ross Erwin Thompson on December 29th, 2020 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Sonia Thompson (Nee Renshaw) of 47 cherished years. Loving father of Amy (Patrick) English and Adam (Leanne) Thompson. Proud grandpa of Jordyn, Colin and Benjamin Thompson and Lilah English. Survived by his siblings Don (Marj) Thompson, Terry (Sherrie) Thompson, Judy (Leonard) Westgate, Roy Thompson (Beverly), Mary Thompson, Susan Thompson, Barbara (Lew) Carter, and Anne Thompson-Wambua (Paul). Predeceased by his sister Jean Watson. Survived by his brothers-in-law Ken Watson, Michael (Tomasa) Renshaw and his sisters-in-law Janet (Bob) Stewart, Jennifer (Richard) Stephens, and Sheila (Dennis) Fisher. Ross is also survived by his mother-in-law May Renshaw. Ross will be sadly missed and remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends.
Ross will be remembered by his countless friends in the vintage motorcycle community. If he wasn’t riding a bike, Ross was fixing one.
