Obituary of Rose Gushue
Passed peacefully away with Lew, Frances, Dennis and Leo by her side at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Monday, August 24, 2020, Rose Gushue of Gull Island, age 58 years.
Predeceased by parents: Nicholas and Johanna Gushue; brother: Terrance; sister: Brenda; nephew: Brandon Mercer; husband: James Oliver.
Leaving to mourn, spouse: Llewelyn ‘Lew’ Snelgrove; two daughters: Frances (Lawrence Singh), Burnaby, BC and Julie (Steven) Giavedoni, Hamilton, ON; two sons: Robert ‘Bobby’ (Alison Cherniak), Buchans, and Terrance ‘Terry’ (Jessica Hall), Coquitlam, BC; eleven grandchildren: Hayley, Joshua, Kiara, Nicholas, Eryn, Jacob, Naveah, Alexander, Nolen, Carter, and Landen; three brothers: Perry, Donald, and Darrell; one sister: Patricia; aunt: Mary; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Special Thanks to Dr. Joe Otto and nurse Kailee Phillips at the ICU, Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, and to Dr. Kehoe at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican.
Following government legislation due to the pandemic, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear followed by funeral service at Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only.
Interment in All Hallows Roman Catholic Cemetery, North River.
