Gill, Rose “Marie” – age 65, of Chaswood, passed away suddenly on July 10, 2020 in Elmsdale. Born in Middle Musquodoboit, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ada (Pickles) Aikens.
Marie enjoyed playing the guitar, being around horses and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Joey (Amanda); daughter, Melissa; six grandchildren; and five siblings. She was predeceased by her husband, Brian.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with time to be announced. A burial for family only will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, East Stewiacke.
Memorial donations may be made to Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
