Rosalind Kirby

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rosalind Kirby aged 71 passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with ALS. Predeceased by her husband and soulmate, Jim Kirby (January 2008); parents, Phillip and Margaret Grouchy; brothers, Wayne (Glenda), Fred (Ruby); sister, Shirley and husband, Jim Dyke. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her only child, Darlene (Jim); grandchildren, Patrick (Olivia) Brooklyn, Arianna, Brayden, JB (Chelsea), Crystal and Ashley. Her only great grandchild who was the light of her life, Alexander. Sisters, Patricia (Bob) Debbie (Wayne), Beth (John-deceased), Diane (Dave), Sharon (Mike) and brother, Phillip (Pat). Special friend Bernadette Perchard, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends, along with all her buddies at Wigmore Court Building 11. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at Caul’s Chapel, 11am on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Inurnment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, St. John’s, NL. Flowers kindly accepted or a donation made be made in her memory to the ALS Society.
