Obituary of Rosalie Lynn Caldwell
It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Rosalie “Lynn” Caldwell of Newport Station, on August 4, 2020 at the age of 78 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Braden and Lydia White.
Lynn was a stay at home mom most of her younger years raising six children. In her later years, she took her PCW Course and was employed in various nursing homes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul; sons Wendell (Pat) and Clay; daughters Pam (Ray) and Bonnie; grandchildren Ian (Charmaine), Ashley (Troy), Tasha (Greg), Wade and Jordan; eight great-grandchildren; sister Sandra (John) Rines; brothers Gilmore, Lewis (Bonnie), Myles (Joy) and Edgar (Cathy); many niece, nephews and many loyal friends.
Besides her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her sons Jeff and Russell; sisters Edna, Irma and two sister in infancy; sons-in-law Welsley MacDonald and Dana Swinamer.
We would like to thank the nurses doctors of Unit #200 and the Palliative Care Unit in the Hants Community Hospital. We would also like to thank the Victorian Order of Nurses.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Hants Community Hospital for the Palliative Care Unit or Unit #200. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
