Obituary of Rosalie Jean Olmstead
Rosalie “Ramblin’ Rose” Jean Olmstead, 77 of Berwick passed away on December 28, 2019 in the Grand View Manor. Born on the homestead of a small farm in the village of New Ross on Lake Ramsey Road, she was the daughter of the Ernest and Effie Connors.
She is survived by her son Dana (Carrie) Olmstead, son of Leon Olmstead grandchildren Mitchell and Lee-Ann Olmstead; sisters Verna Olmstead, Donna (Kenny) Harper and Celia Connors; brothers Wayne (Susan) Connors and Allan (Vondalee) Connors; many nieces and newphews.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her siblings Louis in infancy, Louise (Ronald) Levy, Stuart (Helen) Connors, Frank Connors, Curtis Connors, Sydney Connors, William (Beaver) Connors and Junior Connors.
The family would like to thank the caring and loving staff in the Grand View Manor.
Celebraton of Life for Rose will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home New Ross Funeral Chapel, 4935 Hwy #12, New Ross, B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961).
