Rosalie Ida Slack
1939-2020
Rosalie Ida Slack – 80, Debert/North
River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, March 11, 2020, at
Wynn Park Villa, Truro. Born in East Folly Mountain, she was a
daughter of the late Claude and Blanche (Baker) Slack.
Rosalie is survived by her sisters, Kay (Ed) Franklin, Nancy
(Lester) Hebb, Claudia (Bill) Smith, Barbara (Dale) Jollymore; many
nieces and nephews.
Special thanks are extended to Dr. Trevor Locke and everyone
at Wynn Park Villa for these past five years of excellent
care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Rosalie’s
family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020.
Interment will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Middle Road
Cemetery, Debert. If so desired, donations in Rosalie’s
memory to a charity of choice are welcomed. Private messages of
