Obituary of Ronald Edgar Piapot
With sadness, we announce the passing of Ronald Piapot on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Ron is a residential school survivor. He is predeceased by his wife Violet, the love of his life; Chief Piapot; Chief Starblanket; father Emil Piapot; mother Clara Piapot; brother Alvin Piapot; brother in law Louis Blacksioux and sister in law Gladys Blacksioux. Ron is survived by his sister Cora Obey and family; the Blacksioux family, Lavallee family, Carrier family, Starr family; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; special grandson Tommy Lavalle and numerous other relatives and friends. Wake will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Piapot Community Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from the same location with Elders officiating. Please know that current Covid 19 provincial guidelines will be followed.
