Obituary of Ronald Charles Conrad
Conrad, Ronald Charles – Age 86 of Upper LaHave, passed away November 5, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born May 4, 1934, he was a son of the late, Foster and Cassie (Faulkenham) Conrad. Ronald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra; daughters, Kathy Lynn Oickle, Maitland; Wendy Conrad (Gordie Myre), Martin’s River; son, Ronnie Jr. Conrad (Lisa Higgins), Wileville; brothers, Harold Conrad, Lunenburg; Gerald Conrad, Upper LaHave; grandchildren, Ryan and Lucas Swinamer; Jacob and Jessica Milheron; Mark Oickle; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ronald was predeceased by sisters, Isabel Wagner and Sylvia Zinck, brother, Allan Conrad.
Ronald enjoyed hockey and wrestling. He loved spending time with family and friends, telling stories and listening to music.
There will be no service as per request. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald’s memory may be made to S.H.A.I.D Tree Animal Shelter or the Canadian Diabetes Association. The family would like to extend special thanks to Angie and Staff of South Shore Regional Hospital, as well as to Dr. A. Harris and Dr. L. McIntyre for their care and compassion.
