Ronald Murray Woodcock 19652020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
beloved Brother and uncle Ronnie.
He was a
special person in so many ways, Ronnie made the lives of all who knew
him more enriched. He taught us to appreciate what we have
and brought a smile to our faces with his infectious
laugh. We will never look at a Frog or hear the sound of a
plastic bag without thinking of Ronnie. He defied the odds
because of the care and love he received throughout his
life. He was a burden to no-one and an inspiration to
many.
Ronnie’s journey through life was
guided first by his Mother, Joan (Burrell) until she passed on that
fateful date (December 2) sixteen years ago. There were no
boundaries to his Mother’s love.
The next chapter of his life belonged to Elaine Roberts who loved him
as if he were her own, for which we are eternally
grateful. Through all those years Ronnie benefitted from the
interaction and care of Jobs Unlimited. For the last few
years Ronnie has been well cared for at the Oromocto special care home
which was truly the “right place at the right
time”.
For most of his life Ronnie has been watched over by a
Guardian Angel in the form of Dr Cheryl Rushton who we can’t thank
enough. Thanks also to John Keough ,, staff at the Department
of Social Development, Stan Cassidy Center and Doctors and Nurses at
the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Ronnie
is survived by his loving Sisters; Donna LePage (Woodcock)
and her husband Phil and Judy Misener (Burrell) and her husband Carman
and their families. He is predeceased by his Brother, Gary
Woodcock, wonderful Stepfather Russell Burrell and grandparents Hollis
and Nelly Nason.
We regret that due to Covid
19 a funeral service has been postponed until hopefully the Spring at
which time a “Celebration of his Life” will be held.
Should you wish, donations can be made in Ronnie’s
memory to Jobs Unlimited or a charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ronald Murray Woodcock 19652020..
