May 18, 1930 – February 10, 2020
Ronald Merle Moen was born on May 18, 1930 on the family farm near Colonsay, SK. He passed on to glory on February 10, 2020, in Saskatoon, at the age of 89. He will be missed by his family and friends but we rejoice that he is in his heavenly home. Memorial Service will be held at the Christian Fellowship Church, 58 Mayo Street, Lanigan, SK at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 16th, 2020. Donations can be made to St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Viscount SK and the Gideons. Ron is survived by his wife, Rosemary (nee Dodds), to whom he was married for 55 years; children: Doug (Cheri) Moen, Deb (Tyler) Coupland, and Rebecca Baerg; grandchildren: Erin (Jeff) Klassen, Lauren (Austin) Fisher, Erica (Joe) Morrison, Diana (Joel) Bailey; Silas, Caleb, and Shelby Coupland; Levi (Shara), Isaiah, Taylor, Jeremiah, and Josiah Baerg; 10 great grandchildren; brother Lynn Moen; sister-in-law Ione Tysseland; brother-in-law, Gary (Pat Zeeman) Dodds; mother-in-law Grace Dodds; 9 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; 19 great-great nieces and nephews; and an aunt, an uncle and several cousins. He was predeceased by his parents: Olav and Hildur (nee Hillbom) Moen; siblings: Myrtle (Bernhard) Forsberg, Hilding Moen, Alice (Gerald) Holland, Margaret Moen, Arthur Moen, and baby brother Olav; father-in-law, Vivien Dodds; 2 nephew-in-law; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
