Ronald Laffin 19592020

Ronald Laffin
1959-2020
Ronald Dale Laffin. It is with profound sadness
that the family of Ron announces his sudden passing on Nov. 1, 2020,
at his home in Trenton. Ron was born in New Glasgow on July 25, 1959
and lived in Trenton for the better part of his life. Ron was a son of
the late Earl Laffin and Pauline (Laffin) Warren. Ron was a great guy
who lived his life on his own terms. If you were a friend of
Ron’s, you were a friend for life as we are sure that there
are many people who can attest to this. Ron was an avid hunter and lob
ball player (many a home run was hit at the various tournaments he
played in). Ron was a gentle soul who loved his family very much. Ron
is survived by his two sons, Carl and Ron Jr. in Connecticut, USA;
sisters: Linda (Robert) Dougherty, Milton, Ontario; Paula (Bill)
Richards, Cindy (Mike) MacKenzie, Trenton; Carolyn (Dan Cunningham),
Pictou Landing; brother, Reg (Carol), Trenton; and chosen sister, Dawn
Hayman, Trenton; many nieces and nephews; step-father, Bill Warren,
Connecticut; and many step-brothers and step-sisters. Besides his
parents, grandparents, many aunts and uncles, Ron was predeceased by
his older brother ,Richard, grandniece, Reagan Laffin and step-mother
Anne (Landry) Laffin. The family would like to thank the VON for the
care they showed Ron. A public graveside service will take place at 11
am Friday, Nov. 6, in Hillside Cemetery, with Mr. Fergie MacKay
officiating. Those attending must practise social distancing and
wearing a mask is encouraged. Donations in his memory may be made to
Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of R.H. Porter
Funeral Home.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ronald Laffin 19592020..
