It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Roma is survived by his wife of 68 years Angele Miron (née Savage). Son of the late Florentine (née Gareau) and Louis Miron. Loving father of Richard Miron (Deborah), Jean-Paul Miron (Diane), Daniel Miron (Helene), Monique Ducharme (Ronald), Ronald Miron and Michelle Lachance (Paul). Roma will also be remembered by his grand-children Richard Junior (predeceased), Tina, Dan, Mark, Patrick, Matthieu, Justin, Kristine, David, Philippe, Harmonie, Morgan and Maddex as well as his great grand-children, Brendyn, Cody predeceased), Nicholas, Joshua, Kayden, Payne, Bianca, Braxton, Aria, Dani, Leo, Charlotte, Noah, Luka and Ella. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters. Ernest (predeceased) wife Lucille (predeceased), Fernande Blanchette (nee Miron) husband Ernie (predeceased), Jean-Paul (predeceased) wife Marthe, Rita Lapointe (nee Miron) husband Rene (predeceased), Claire Blais (nee Miron) husband Yvan (predeceased), Roger Miron, Andre Miron wife Madeline, Aline Machin (nee Miron) husband Bruce (predeceased), Louise Miron (predeceased), Lucien Miron as well as many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the staff at Westmount Residence, you were like family to him. Also a special thanks to the staff at the HSN for their support during this difficult time. At Roma’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
