It is with great sadness that we announce
the passing of Rolf Woerz of Fredericton NB on Monday June
29th, 2020 at his residence. He was 90.
Born in Suessen, West Germany and a son of
the late Andreas and Katrina (Fischer) Woerz, Rolf worked as a
bricklayer for over 40
years.
Survived by his wife Barbara (Horncastle)
Woerz of Fredericton, one daughter Krista (Murray) Green of Grand
Manan Island, a brother in law Paul Horncastle of Fredericton, a
sister in law Nellie Horncastle, three grandchildren Rebecca, Bradley
and Rachel Parker as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a
son Andrew and one sister Lore
Klumpp.
At the family’s request, there
will be no visitation. A private graveside committal service will take
place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension.
For those who wish, memorial contributions
in Rolf’s memory may be made to a charity of the
donor’s choice.
