Obituary of Roland Eugene Burgoyne
BURGOYNE, Roland Eugene – Age 72, of Cherryfield, passed away on July 2, 2020 at home. Born in Springfield on December 17, 1947, he was a son of the late Donald and Lona (Whynot) Burgoyne.
Roland is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Veinot) Burgoyne; son, Kirk Burgoyne (Jessica Feener), Cherryfield; daughters, Melissa (Brenton) Zinck, New Germany; Michelle Burgoyne (Phillip Crouse), Bridgewater; Teena (Rodney) Lohnes, North River; Kathy Bayers (Barry Crouse) , Crousetown; Tammy Scannlon (Mark), Alberta; brothers, Ross (Ann) Burgoyne, Cherryfield; Leonard Burgoyne (Amanda Robar), Lake Pleasant; sisters, Linda (Arden) Sproule, Lake Pleasant; Christine (David) Whynot, Meisner Section; Susan Daniels, Waterloo; Kimberley Burgoyne (Kelly Veinot), Pinehurst; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Brian Burgoyne; and grandchildren, Jeramy, Trisha and Shelby.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, New Germany. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. No flowers by request.
