The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Thursday, May 21, 2020 of Roland
William Millar aged 94, of Freeland. Beloved husband of Muriel
(Barlow) Millar. Roland was born in Freeland on October 14, 1925,
beloved son of John & Pearle (Palmer) Millar.
Cherished father to Roger (Rachel), Freeland; Leona (Doug)
Strongman, Ellerslie and Linda (John) Godfrey, Riverview,
NB.
Dear grandfather to Brandon (Samarah Gallant); Alanna (Dillon
MacAduff); Brian (Ruth MacKenzie); Amanda (Matt O’Brien) and
great grandfather to Madalynn and Emerson.
Roland is also survived by sisters and brothers in law
Shirley (Russell) Ramsay; Eleanor (Alvin) Arsenault and Anna
Mae Barlow. He will be missed by his nieces and
nephews.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home & Chapel,
O’Leary with private family arrangements due to Covid 19
restrictions. Interment will be in Freeland Presbyterian Church
Cemetery.
Roland was a past Master of the
Alexander Masonic Lodge #5, Port Hill.

Cemetery would be appreciated.
