Peacefully passed away on Friday, October 1, 2020 at the Belleville General Hospital in his 77th year. Loving husband of the late Gloria Brant. Roger will always be remembered by his children Steve (Natalie), Brenda Green Garey, Frank Garey (Ang), Brian (Lisa) and his nephew John Hill. He will be deeply missed by all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his children Sheryl and Mike Brant and his sisters Delores and Shirley. The family would like to mention a special thank you to Anna Barberstock, Steve Chartrand, Tracey Garey, Dylan Garey, Britney Garey and Mike Brant for all of their help over the years. Family and friends will be received at Smith & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 between the hours of 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held in Christ Church Cemetery, Christ Church Lane, TMT on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions all attendees must RSVP directly to the funeral home by phone 613-396-2310 or email mjsmithandson@cogeco.net to obtain a time to see the family on Wednesday. Mandatory COVID 19 protocols will be effect including physical distancing outside and inside the funeral home and at the cemetery and face masks are required. We ask everyone to remain outside or in your vehicles until your time to see the family.
