Obituary of Roger Desautels
It is with sadness that we say farewell to our brother, uncle and friend who passed away peacefully at the Ste. Anne Hospital on July 13, 2020 at the age of 61 years old.
Missing and loving him are sister Denise (late Alain) Sabourin, brother Robert (Debbie) Desautels, and all his special nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Francois and Aurore Desautels, sisters Raymonde Duval and Lorraine Desautels, brothers in-law Alain Sabourin and Armand Duval, and nephew Marcel Duval.
Roger was born and raised in St. Jean-Baptiste and enjoyed his childhood days playing with his brothers and sisters. Roger enjoyed biking and visiting all his aunts and uncles.
In 1997 he moved to St. Malo and entered a new chapter of life. He was cared for by a wonderful loving family and then moved later to a group home in St. Malo.
Roger loved all the excitement, activities and wonderful people that were part of his life. He enjoyed going to hockey games, fishing, dancing, singing, good food and his favorite drink “coke”
Until we meet again, rest in peace.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff and friends at the Epic/Smile of St. Malo. Your care, love and support for Roger was awesome and so much appreciated. From the bottom of our hearts a sincere thank you. May you all be blessed for the wonderful work you do.
Cremation has taken place and the immediate family will hold a graveside service at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Roger
