Rodger’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Rodger James Woodland age 67 years of Valleyfield, who passed away at home on Monday, November 16, 2020 .
Predeceased by his parents; Arthur Raymond and Dorothy Jean Woodland, sister; Pauline Pardy, father-in-law; Abram Sturge, and brother-in-law; Eric Barclay Selkirk.
Leaving to mourn with loving and beautiful memories are his wife; Marilyn (nee Sturge), sons; Rodney (Gina) of Fort McMurray, Ryan (Leslie) of Fort McMurray, brother; Reginald (Bernice) of St. John’s, sister; Annie Selkirk of Greenspond, mother-in-law Annie Sturge, grandchildren; Cody, Raine, Nevach, Ryder and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitations will be by invitation only.
Visitation by invitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 20, 2020 at
2:30 P.M. – 4 :30 P.M.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Rodger’s memory to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, St. John’s or The Daffodil Place, St. John’s
