Obituary of Robert Taylor
TAYLOR, Robert “Bob,”
On Friday May 8th 2020, at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, in his 82nd year. Bob was the beloved husband of Patricia “Pat”, and dear father of James “Jim”, and Kathryn “Kathy”. Loving grandfather of Caleb (Brianna), Shannon (Maaz Sarkar), Matthew, and Larissa Smith. Cherished great grandfather of Ashton and Ellie. Beloved brother of Mary (Bob) Peckham and predeceased by his brother Fred (Ruth) and parents Amos and Francis. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In tears we saw you sinking,
And watched you pass away.
Our hearts were almost broken,
We wanted you to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful, free from pain,
How could we wish you back with us,
To suffer that again.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
