Mann, L. Robert
Of Port Stanley, passed away with family by his side at St Thomas-Elgin General Hospital March 15, 2020 in his 75th year.
Best friend and loving husband of 50 years to Janey (Holmes), adoring and proud father to Rob (Alyssa) of Texas. Beloved Grampa to Dominic, Bella and Ardyn. Big brother to Trish Williston (Ed) of Port Stanley, and Susan Berry (David) of Niagara Falls, and brother-in-law to Michael Holmes (Eileen) of New Brunswick, Stephen Holmes (Diane) of California, Ted Clement (Sandy) of London. Uncle Rob to his nieces and nephews David, Jillian, Christine, Ben, Emily, Josh, Sarah, Allison, Stephen, Andrea, Sam and great-uncle to sweet baby Olivia.
Predeceased by parents Bob and Lena Mann and brother Sandy Mann. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Laurie Clement. Bob spent his entire career with CNH (farm equipment) and retired to Port Stanley in 2007.
Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Thanks to the amazing staff at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital ICU and Surgical Ward for their special care.
Special thanks to Steve Holmes and Susan Berry for being our “rocks”. Many thanks to our loving friends and family and to our wonderful neighbours in Port Stanley for their friendship and support.

  1. Dear Janey please accept my condolences on the passing of Bob, I worked with Bob for many, many years, starting with IH and then we went through all the changes together.
    At one time he was actually my boss, he was great to work for. There were a bunch of us that went out for lunch, Ken Benson. Gary Lisbon, Ted Jones, Robert Morisette, Kathy Bell, Henry G. We had a lot of fun and fond memories. They all called me Val the farmer’s pal.
    May Bob Rest In Peace.
