Obituary of Robert Kerr
On Tuesday, October 13th, 2020, William Robert “Bob” Kerr of Peterborough passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Hospital in his 93rd year.
Loving and devoted husband of Lois (née Burchill) Kerr for 69 years. Cherished father of Luanne Robotham, Lisa Armour & Christopher and the late Douglas Kerr. Beloved grandpa to his grandchildren Mark, Erin, Joseph, Laura, and Justin and great-grandfather to four. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Grace Kerr as well as his nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Joseph & Vera (née Bunker) Kerr, brothers Douglas, Jack and Luther Kerr, sister Marjorie Hennessey and her husband Patrick, sisters-in-law Mary McGladrey and Margaret Weltz and brothers-in-law Herbert, Robert and Roy Burchill.
Bob was a preeminent gentleman who was loved by all and he will be truly missed.
A graveside service will take place at Wingham Cemetery on Friday, November 20th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID19 restrictions, those wishing to attend must RSVP through the website or by calling the funeral home at 519-357-1170.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
