Obituary of Robert James Peterson
Robert (Bob) James Peterson (February 9, 1964 – July 14, 2020) passed away peacefully at Three Hills Health Centre at the age of 56 years. He was the 8th of 11 children born to Albert and Henrietta Peterson. He was raised on the farm west of Trochu and attended Pontmain and Trochu Valley School where he graduated in 1982.
Bob lived and worked most of his adult life in Edmonton where he was part of Celebrations Musical Theatre Company that toured across western Canada, worked for Princess Movie Theatres and did various other jobs. Despite being deaf in one ear, he was a talented musician and singer. Bob loved music and it was always a large part of his life. He was mechanically innovative and would spend many hours tinkering on old engines, equipment, and vehicles. He believed “one man’s trash was another’s man’s treasure”. He loved antiques and was a member of the Trochu & District Museum. Bob moved back to Trochu in 2010 and spent a few years with his Mom. After her passing, he moved to the Trochu Manor where he met and enjoyed the company of other residents. He was a kindhearted soul.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Albert and Henrietta Peterson and his infant brother, Donald. He is survived by his siblings Lyle (Wanda), Mike (Pat), Brian (Colleen), Tim (Lara), Donna (Lonnie), Bev (Brian), Rick (Tracy), Joanne, Jim (Mel) and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trochu & District Museum.

Dear Peterson Family
I was saddened to see the passing of my friend Bobby. I remember him fondly throughout school years and we always had good giggles together.
He was a talented musician and singer and even though we had not seen each other in years I will never forget our childhood friendship.
God Rest your Soul Bobby❤️
