Obituary of Robert Craft
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” Harold Craft Sr. husband of Linda Lee (London) Craft which occurred on February 1, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Bob was born on January 11, 1940 in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Ronald and Greta (Rathje) Craft.
He was employed at Point Lepreau in the maintenance department and a member of the Labourers Union Local 1278 until his retirement. After retiring he stayed busy by taking his grandchildren to school activities and hockey, loved Sunday drives and going to the camp.
Besides his wife Linda he is survived by his children: John Craft (Candace) of Saint John, Robert Craft Jr (Katherine) of Alberta, Greta Wooden (John) of Saint John, Cathy Craft (Sandra) of Fredericton, Thomas Craft (Joanne) of Saint John, Kelly Ring (Brian) of Saint John, Scott Craft of Saint John and Roberta Craft of Sus; brother: Ronald Craft of Niagara Falls; seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews Besides his parents he was predeceased by sister: Diane Sullivan.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7425) with visiting on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from Bay View Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish remembrances to NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
