Robert Millard “Mike” Cleveland
1946-2020
Robert Millard “Mike” Cleveland – age 73,
of New Minas, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020, in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the
late Greta May MacIntyre. Mike had been employed with TP Calkin
Limited, Kentville for a number of years, Sears, New Minas and later,
Walmart. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, his high school
sweetheart, Sharon (Bishop); son, Roby (Allie), Hubbard; brothers,
Norman (Cheryl) MacIntyre, New Minas, Darrell MacIntyre, Wilmot,
Gordon Cleveland, South Shore; sisters, Sheila (Randy) Huntley,
Wilmot, Carol (Terry) MacIntyre, Halifax, Jacqueline MacIntyre,
Centreville, Marilyn MacIntyre, Falmouth; five grandchildren, Kayla,
Brittany, Jordan, Nathan, Cruz; two great-grandchildren, Adeline and
Duke. He was predeceased by his sister, Brenda. There will be no
visitation, by request. A family graveside service will be held at
11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January, 2020 in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Reverend
Doctor David Bielby officating. Family flowers only, by request.
Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or SPCA
– Kings County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
