Obituary
Denault, Robert Douglas
It is with much sadness that the family announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Denault. Dad passed peacefully on Saturday 27th June at the North Bay General Hospital Palliative care unit.
Bob was married to Joyce for over fifty years.
Dad is remembered by his children Sherry and her husband Mervyn, Steve and his wife Darlene and Terry and her husband Tom. Bob and Joyce have five grandchildren Shelly, Chad, Kyle, Kalina and Adam as well as two great grandchildren Conner and Ayden.
Bob was a former Korean War vet and served in the Royal Canadian Regiment. He was an active member of Branch 23.
Bob managed at one time, both the Kipawa and Canadiana Hotels and owned and operated three fly- in fishing camps on Lake Kipawa, Lake Sasaginiga and Birch Lake.
A superb wood worker and former boat builder, Bob also built several cottages and homes in the Kipawa area. In retirement he also owned and restored vintage tractors.
Bob is much loved by his family and we will all miss him greatly.
A private service for the family will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, due to Covid 19, by invitation only.
Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated and in lieu of flowers please make a donation for Parkinson’s or the Poppy Fund in Bob’s name.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert Denault June 27 2020..
