Robert Dale McCutcheon, son of the late Lawrence McCutcheon and the late Pauline Grant McCutcheon,
passed away at Vigi Mont-Royal long-term care centre on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th. He was born on June 9th, 1945
and besides his sister Mary Janet is survived by cousins in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Robert was
brought up in the Town of Mount Royal, earned a B.Sc. from Acadia University and worked as a computer programmer in Calgary. He enjoyed his ’95 Camry, cat and dog companions, could sing and play early Bob Dylan, read science books, and liked Murdoch Murder Mysteries. After returning to Montreal he was respectfully supported by the Albert Prévost Institut and their community team. The family also thanks understanding building superintendents and Mike Ogura along the way. After suffering small strokes Robert found new homes at La Vallée family residence, Westisland Manor and “one west” in Vigi Mont-Royal. Interment of ashes will be made sometime in the future at Keirsteadville Cemetery in New Brunswick. Donations may be made in his name tto the SPCA.
