RITA GOLDING

(1922-2020)
It is with great sadness that we announce Rita passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2020 at Markham Stouffville Hospital in her 98th year with her family at her bedside. Beloved wife of Peter (deceased), and mother of Jon (deceased). Lovingly adored by her children Geoffrey (Heather), Jennifer (Stewart) and Ian (Joan). She will be forever cherished by her 10 grandchildren Sean, Blair, Natalie, Nicole, Dana, Zoe, Alex, Francesca , Victoria and Michael and her 7 great grandchildren, Alexis, Sienna, Camden , Hannah, Gemma, Gwen and Annabella.
Rita had a vibrant personality and will be remembered for her love of music and dance, her unique sense of humour and her willingness to do anything for her family. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Family and friends will be received at the Dixon Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street , Markham on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6.00pm – 9.00pm . Funeral to take place at St. Patrick’s Church, 5633 Highway 7, Markham on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10.00 am. Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their outstanding care of our mother. For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
