Obituary of Rita Anne Kelly
KELLY, Rita Anne (nee Bissonnette)
Peacefully at the Perth Hospital on Thursday, October 1, 2020, in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years Jerome Kelly, and parents George and Mona Bissonnette. Devoted and loving mother of Carol (Hugh) McKenna, Donna (Dick) Fisher, Nancy, Jane (Clayton) Guerin, Brian (Judy), Louis (Fiona), and Jo-Anne (Doug) Sergeant. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by all her siblings.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family Visitation will be held at Lannin Funeral Home in Smiths Falls on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 12 Noon to 1 PM. Following the Visitation, a private family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church in Smiths Falls at 1:30 PM. Interment at Blessed Sacrament Parish Cemetery in Lombardy.
As expressions of sympathy donations in lieu of flowers to Diabetes Canada or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. Online condolences available at www. lannin.ca
Provincial Covid-19 restrictions require the wearing of masks inside the funeral home and graveside with social distancing required by all those not from the same household. The number of attendees may be limited due to capacity restrictions during visitations, services, and burials.
